Lepisosteidae (Gar)
Lepisosteidae is a family of fish that includes the modern gars and some prehistoric gar-like fish. These fish would have been similar to modern day gar, but would have been marine dwelling. The more common find for these are their small teeth, but their scales are occasionally found as well. Their teeth are incredibly small, only being found while searching micro matrix.

Teeth
Their teeth are easily recognizable when found being miniscule, golden amber in color, and generally having barbs at the tip of the tooth. The tip of the tooth also generally changes color after the barb.
