Pseusohypolophus mcnultyi (Guitarfish)

Pseudohypolophus teeth are somewhat arbitrary in shape. They typically have a crown reminiscent of a bolt, being hexagonal in shape. Their crown is rounded and rough, and the teeth are typically somewhat twisted in shape. They have a bilobate root that is asymmetrical.

Teeth

These teeth are somewhat of an oddity. Unlike most ray teeth their shape seems somewhat random and their crown isn’t smooth. Most striking in this example is the extremely asymmetrical root.
