Rhombodus levis (Cow-Nosed Ray)

Rhombodus levis was a stingray that was quite common during the Cretaceous. Their teeth are rhomboid in shape (aptly named) with a bilobate (two-lobed) root. Their teeth are quite distinct at a glance, and are the most common ray found in SC.
